Rules voting
HOW TO MAKE A RULE
Safe’n’Sec proactive protection kernel is the Rules List which sharply define all possible dangerous applications’ actions consecutions. Rules editor was integrated into Safe’n’Sec Personal 2.0 version allowing Safe’n’Sec user to make activity control rules for the applications himself. In previous versions activity control rules were set by default. Thus users now have an option of developing their own rules for the following types of applications activity:
- file activity – PC files creating, opening, changing and deleting;
- registry activity – existing registry keys and their values adding, deleting and changing;
- process interaction – operations of one processes calling by the other, processes finishing, code executing in other applications address area etc.;
- network activity – network connection opening, data receiving and sending through the network;
- system functions calling.
Rules requirements
Rules participating in the contest should be developed considering home PCs’standard configuration so they could be applied by the majority of users. Having nominated the rule for the contest its author thus agrees to pass all the rights on the rule’s following usage to StarForce Technologies. StarForce reserves to itself the right to decline the nominated rules publication without explaining the reason.
