News about hacked ATMs and Trojan attack on ATMs’ steals data and PINs in the Eastern European region has been thrilling the banking sector and its clients during past few months. According to SpiderLabs research this malware grabs magnetic stripe data and PINs from the Windows XP-based ATM's transaction application's private memory space. It also provides the criminal with a customized users interface and gives the opportunity to print stolen data out with the help of the built-in type printer or to output via the card reader to a suitable storage device. To protect ATMs against this kind of threats is possible using especially designated protection systems. And one of solutions of this type will be presented to the public by S.N.
