S.N. Safe&Software has participated in CeBIT 2009

S.N. Safe&Software has traditionally participated in the in the world’s leading information and computer technologies fair CeBIT 2009 in Hannover, 3-8 March. According to company representatives the results of this year meetings and negotiations appeared to be very positive: they managed to establish several prospective contacts with system integrators and distributors, gained some provisional arrangements on the potential cooperation in antivirus engines licensing and releasing combined products with major vendors.

Within the framework of CeBIT 2009 S.N. Safe&Software, Russian company-developer of software IT security solutions, presented a new version of Safe’n’Sec 2009 personal and corporate products. Protection of all Safe’n’Sec 2009 products (Safe’n’Sec 2009 Personal, Safe’n’Sec 2009 + Antivirus Dr.Web, Safe’n’Sec 2009 Deluxe and new corporate solution Safe’n’Sec Enterprise Suite 2009) is realized by several methods: applications behavior analysis and blocking all malicious activities (HIPS-technology), detecting hidden kernel level modules and system function interceptors and searching for hidden processes (Rootkit Detector module) and also the method of information system profiling and flexible system privilege delimitation (new V.I.P.O.® technology).

Advanced V.I.P.O technology, in-house development of S.N. Safe&Software Ltd., realizes scanning and creating applications profile, creating a list of trusted applications, system running under V.I.P.O.® control in accordance with adjusted privileges, also this technology prevents any malicious codes execution and blocks starting new applications without user’s permission.

According to S.N. Safe&Software representatives CeBIT 2009 visitors and exhibitors were the most interested in the technological component of Safe’n’Sec products. Due to constituted meetings and negotiations the company employees established some prospective contacts and by the end of 2009 S.N. Safe&Software is planning to conclude several contracts with distributors and resellers in Germany, France and USA, cooperation with major vendors and releasing combined solutions.
